Used this a few times now and very pleased with it. Easy to use and change gaz cylinders. Would recommend.Campingaz Camp Bistro
Bought this for when we have days out and fancy a hot sarni after a long walk with the dogs and this has fit the bill perfectly. We used it last weekend for the first time and husband asked me to try lighting it since I’m the one with dexterity problems. I was pleased at how easy it was to a) install the gas b) light and c) keep alight even with the occasional gust of wind. Husband was so delighted to be able to have something warm to eat on our day out he even offered to cook – OMG a first… mmmm.. maybe I’ll get another and sit it at the side of the cooker and see if that works the same magic!!! Even the dogs voted to give it 5 stars after getting a sausage each.
The Campingaz stove has solved my problem of cooking small quantities of stuff quickly !( No more waiting for the electric hob to heat up and then waste the heat after cooking for a short while ).It is light, portable, safe and easy to handle.
But the plastic case is of poor quality and already has a crack.
We had a recent power cut and I know someone who has this stove and are very pleased with it, so I ordered one in case another power cut comes. I can also get the gas at a local shop. Very neat and tidy.
We have just changed from a gas hob to an induction one (which by the way can highly recommend!), so bought this stove mainly as a back up in case of power cuts, although it will also come in handy on day trips etc. Have tried it out and it works perfectly well, it is very compact and lightweight, and comes with it’s own carry case. We also bought the pack of four gas canisters which are also very good value for money.
