I brought this item for a laugh just to mess around with and it performed that to an excellent degree.

However when it actually came to camping and lighting a fire with it, that was a different story we did get the fire going but the amount of effort compared to matches or lighters wasn’t worth it in my eyes, it was fun at first but after a minute or two it got fairly tedious, maybe I just needed more practice.

And the Maya dust was a big let down for me, it wasn’t as easy to light as first expected again at times making it a tedious task.

My advice if your going camping is take a lighter, it makes life so much easier, however with all these negative points I still think this is a good fun product and defiantly worth a try at least once
