   this is the first hydration backpack I’ve ever bought or tried so I can’t compare it to other brands. The backpack is great, with a small pocket where you can fit a spare tube, a mobile and keys. It also has two strings/straps (in lack of a better word) on the inside to fix the bladder so it doesn’t collapse (I’ve read some packs don’t have those). It’s waterproof, we got soaked on our bike ride and all contents remained dry.

   The problem is the bladder (Hydroknight brand), the water has an awful plastic taste. I’ve tried cleaning and washing it, soaking it overnight but it doesn’t help. The bite valve is ok and the flow is sufficient. Overall, good value for money if you want something cheap to see if you prefer it to using a bottle but I will probably be buying a new taste-free bladder in near future. Another thing, I’m size 6 and find the backpack doesnt’ fit well, it moves around a little on my back even if I adjust the chest strap. It works ok for my boyfriend though.
